The majority of the votes of Condé Nast Traveller magazine said they chose because of the memories of Hoi An shimmer, this beautiful arrival. “Visitors like to see the colorful houses and the ancient mansion, they make visitors feel like you are going in”. They were graded for cultural characteristics in Hoi An with 87.3 points, 84.3 points friendly, atmosphere 90.9 points, 73.1 points restaurant, staying 80.3 points and 68 shopping , 4 points. A total of Hoi An average score is 79.9 points while Kyoto is 81.6 points.
The international tourism experts believe that this is a remarkable achievement of a small town Hoi An as compared with the “enemy” other heavyweights. Especially over the last years, Hoi An was first shortlisted 10 Asian cities famous.
This is the 26th poll of Condé Nast Traveller magazine, one of the prestigious magazine in the international tourism industry, done every year. According to the magazine, this year of people vote for the criteria of this contest has grown to nearly 80,000 international readers, almost double compared to last year’s poll. 10 cities on the list include Kyoto, Tokyo (Japan), Hoi An, Ubub (Indonesia), Luang Prabang (Laos), Singapore, Chiang Mai, Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong (China) and Siem Reap (Cambodia).
